SGPC elections- Publication of draft voter list on Jan 3
Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal announced on Wednesday that the draft voter list for the elections of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) will be published on January 3. He explained that this draft voter list has been compiled based on the forms received between October 21, 2023, and December 15, 2024. The list will be available in the offices of the Revising Officers.
Ludhiana, January 1, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal announced on Wednesday that the draft voter list for the elections of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) will be published on January 3. He explained that this draft voter list has been compiled based on the forms received between October 21, 2023, and December 15, 2024. The list will be available in the offices of the Revising Officers.
Jorwal added that voters have the opportunity to file objections and appeals with the relevant Revising Officers until January 24.
For the Khanna area, the revising officer is the SDM Khanna, and the draft voter list will be accessible in his office. Voters are encouraged to file any objections or appeals there by January 24. The revising officer for Payal is the SDM Payal, who will also have the draft list available in his office for voters to check and file objections. In the sub-divisions of West, Samrala, Raikot, and Jagraon, the respective SDMs serve as revising officers, and voters can check the draft voter list and file objections in their offices.
For Ludhiana Rural, the SDM East is the revising officer, and the draft voter list will be available in his office located at the District Administrative Complex. In Mullanpur Dakha, the District Revenue Officer (DRO) is the revising officer; voters can check the draft voter list and file objections in the DRA branch of the District Administrative Complex.
Pakhowal voters can check the draft voter list and file objections at the office of the District Development and Panchayat Officer on the first floor of the District Administrative Complex.
The Additional District Commissioner (Urban Development) is the revising officer for the Sidhwan Bet area, where voters can check the draft voter list and file objections in room number 118 of the District Administrative Complex.
For voters in the Doraha area, the Regional Transport Officer will serve as the revising officer, and the draft voter list can be checked in room number 1 of the Zila Parishad building, opposite the Vigilance Office.
Lastly, for Ludhiana South and North voters, the Joint Commissioners of the Municipal Corporation (MC) is the revising officers. Voters can check the draft voter lists and file objections in room number 12 of the MC Zone-C building on Gill Road and room number 72 on the third floor of the MC Zone-A building, respectively.
