Shemaroo Umang's supernatural show ‘Shamshaan Champa’ has been winning the hearts of viewers with its gripping storyline. However, it's not just the plot that’s grabbing attention; fans are now praising the looks of the main characters as well. Recently, the styling of the show’s characters has been compared to the iconic looks from the globally recognized movie ‘Laapata Ladies’, which is headed to the Oscars.

Ayush Shrivastava shared his excitement about the unexpected comparison of the character look in the show. He said, “Recently, we shot a scene where I, as Vikram, and Champa share a romantic moment as a newlywed couple inspired from the Lappata Ladies. Everything went smoothly during the shoot, and we were happy with how it turned out. However, it was more rewarding for us when, fans immediately began comparing our look and started appreciating our work. It felt amazing to have our show's styling compared to such a powerful film, especially one that has been recognized globally and is on its way to the Oscars.”

He further added, “Moments like these are truly special because they highlight the impact of our work beyond just the story. To have our show Shamshaan Champa mentioned in the same breath as an Oscar-nominated movie is a huge compliment. It validates the effort put in by the entire team, especially the costume and makeup departments. It gives us a sense of pride and motivate us to continue delivering unique and high-quality content to our audience.”
