Mumbai, August 5 2024: Sony SAB’s ‘Badall Pe Paon Hai’ has been winning hearts with its engaging storyline and the chemistry between its lead actors, Amandeep Sidhu (as Baani Arora) and Aakash Ahuja (as Rajat Khanna). As the show progresses, Baani’s stock market ventures and her growing relationship with Rajat have captured the audience’s attention.

A standout character in the show is Poonam Khanna, who plays the role of Baani’s mother-in-law and is portrayed by the talented Shefali Rana. Unlike a typical mother-in-law, Poonam is a loving and supportive figure in Baani’s life and is the glue that binds the Khanna family together. Her affection for Baani and the rest of her family and her role as a pillar of strength make her character truly special.

Shefali expressed her enthusiasm about her role in Badall Pe Paon Hai, “When I was offered the role of Poonam, I was immediately drawn to the character’s unique portrayal of a mother-in-law who offers unconditional support to her daughter-in-law. It’s rare to see such a positive and supportive relationship on television. I was excited to be part of a show where there’s no major household politics, and Poonam’s supportive role towards Baani’s stock market journey makes her a true ally. I’m confident that viewers will continue to enjoy the show as the story develops in the upcoming episodes.”

Reflecting on her experiences with the show and cast until now, she shared, “Working on the show has been an incredible experience. The Khanna family, both on-screen and off-screen, has been amazing. Since we’re away from our own families, we’ve become like a second family here in Chandigarh. We live in the same society, cook, eat, and even visit the market together. The bond we share is so natural and comforting, it feels like we’re genuinely connected.”
