Zirakpur, December 7, 2024: Shemrock World School, Zirakpur, commenced its much-awaited Utkarsh Annual Function 2024 today, marking the beginning of a grand four-day celebration of student talent and creativity.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Amarjeet Singh Bajwa, Chairman, Group of Shemrock School who praised the school for fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Chetan Bansal, Principal, Said The first day showcased a captivating lineup of performances, beginning with the traditional Ganesh Vandana and lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the invocation of blessings. Students from all grades participated with enthusiasm, presenting a mix of cultural, social, and artistic displays. Highlights included the melodious Meri Pyari Ammi by Grade 8, the empowering Jaytu Jaytu Bharat by Grade 8, and the socially impactful Cancer Awareness Play by Grade 11. Vibrant dances like Bhangra Remix and Cham Cham added a burst of energy to the stage.
Special performances, such as the Cyber Safety Play by Grade 5 and an orchestra by senior students, captivated the audience. The day concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the student representatives, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest and the audience.
