Shiv Sena (Punjab) leader Sandeep Thapar discharged from hospital
Shiv Sena (Punjab) leader Sandeep Thapar, alias Gora (65), who was allegedly attacked by three assailants here on July 5, was discharged from DMCH, Ludhiana today.
Ludhiana, July 13, 2024: Shiv Sena (Punjab) leader Sandeep Thapar, alias Gora (65), who was allegedly attacked by three assailants here on July 5, was discharged from DMCH, Ludhiana today.
He was brought in critical condition with sword wounds, bones broken at multiple places, muscle tendon cut, right ear lobe cut and multiple deep wounds on head and forearms at DMCH here on July 5.
In the critical condition, Thapar was admitted under Dr Anubhav Sharma, a Young Orthopedic Surgeon who has vast experience in handling complex trauma having worked in premier institutions at Kochi (Kerala) and New Delhi. Dr Anubhav Sharma with his team worked tirelessly and operated on Thapar in two stages.
Not less than miracle that with cohesive efforts of DMCH doctors, within 8 days of suffering from life and limb threatening injuries he has been discharged in a stable condition with both his upper limb function optimally.
Of course, he will be kept under close follow up under Dr Anubhav Sharma to ensure best rehabilitation for best recovery.
