Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation holds Bhandara
Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) held a 'Bhandara', or Community Kitchen, at Industrial Area Phase-1, Panchkula , where hundreds of working class people and needy families from the surrounding areas had food.
Panchkula, Aug 5, 2023: Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) held a 'Bhandara', or Community Kitchen, at Industrial Area Phase-1, Panchkula , where hundreds of working class people and needy families from the surrounding areas had food.
On this special occasion a special 'katha', or story telling, on ‘Annadan’, or food donation, was held by the Founder of Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation, Amitabh Rungta. During the 'katha' Rungta informed that as per 'Sanatan Dharam', or Hinduism, ‘Annadan’ is considered the highest noble deed.
Speaking on the occasion Rungta said, “This was the 71st 'Bhandara' of our Foundation. Needy people came and had food. I request everyone to arrange maximum 'Bhandaras'. One should feed needy people and help the underprivileged segment of society."
Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati Rungta, Deepali Rungta, Sukhpal Singh, Suresh Jangra and other members and volunteers of Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation helped in the arrangement of the 'Bhandara' and in serving the hungry.
