Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebration in Innocent Hearts: Love for krishna filled the air with devotion
The festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great faith, devotion and enthusiasm in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt Jandiala Road, Nurpur Road and Kapurthala Road).
Jalandhar, September 6, 2023: The festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great faith, devotion and enthusiasm in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt Jandiala Road, Nurpur Road and Kapurthala Road).
A special assembly was organized on this occasion. A cradle was decorated with fresh flowers for Balgopal was the center of special attraction. The little children of Innokids who came dressed as Krishna and gopis enthralled everyone. The students of Symphony Club remembered God by singing the hymn 'O Palanhare'.
Children made the whole atmosphere devotional by dancing on the hymns of Shri Krishna. While enacting Shri Krishna's childhood leelas, one of the students presented the character of being Sudama to present his friendship with Shri Krishna, while someone showed the leelas of lifting the Govardhan mountain.
The students showed the killing of Kalia Nag through their dance presentation, broke the pot ( Matki fodi) and also showed the Rasleelas of Vrindavan. The enactments based on Krishna Leelas fascinated everyone. Prasad was distributed at the end of the program.
Principals of respective schools congratulated the children on Shri Krishna Janmashtami and asked them to follow the path shown by Shri Krishna.
On this occasion, Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs of Innocent Hearts Group, Sharmila Nakra said that the purpose of organizing such activities is to connect children with their culture, to inculcate cultural values and spiritual values in them.
