Shri Vishwakarma Skill University organized Mega Job Fair 2021

Gurugram, December 3, 2021: Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Gurugram Campus organized a Mega Job Fair 2021 on Friday, in which  Minister of Skill Development and Industrial Training, Haryana Government, Sh Mool chand Sharma as Chief Guest, Special Invitee, CEO, Equitas Holdings Limited Sh John Alex joined. Some prominent companies like Equitas Small Finance Bank, ICICI Bank, Satya Finance, ITM Skill Academy, Ayesa Job Consultant, Broadway Consultant, Mohit Consultant, Tanwar Placement Services, Work X, Global Innovation Source, DGA Placement, Seal HR Services (NEEM) at Mega Job Fair, V4Jobs Services Pvt Ltd, G4 Security Services, Team Lease, Youth4Jobs Foundation, Vividene Technologies, Pragati Infra Solutions Pvt Ltd, Expanded Health Care Marketing Pvt Ltd (Healthians), Mentocort DG Guru Solutions Pvt Ltd, Gabriel India Ltd , Mahle Anand Filter System Pvt Ltd, Belz Instruments Pvt Ltd, BYJU's Think & Learn Pvt Ltd etc. participated in which offer letters were given to the participants. During this, the Chief Guest Sh Mool chand Sharma, Haryana Government said that Haryana and India have to be enabled, youth should be proficient in the field of skills, this university works to enable youth and send them to industries. On one hand, the problem of employment was seen due to Covid, for the same Shri Vishwakarma Skill University organized a job fair for the students, in which some of the most prominent companies participated. This university is fulfilling the dream with which the government established this skill university. This is the first government university in the country and Haryana, in which all types of skill courses are conducted for the students. On the basis of these skill courses, students leave this university with the quality of both the employer and the taker. The type of skill courses this university is providing to the students is a unique concept. Partnership with Industries, provision of OJT for the students, arrangement of stipend, high quality practical work, arrangements for various types of training is being provided by this university.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Sh Raj Nehru expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, Hon'ble Minister for Skill Development and Industrial Training, Sh Mool chand Sharma, the special invitee CEO, Equitas Holdings Limited, Shri John Alex and all the dignitaries present in the program. He said that more than 26 companies from different sectors participated in the job fair, in which companies from Banking Sector, Agriculture Sector, Security Sector, Manufacturing Sector, Education Sector, Health Sector and other sectors participated. During this, more than 1500 students participated in it through online and offline medium. During this, ICICI Bank and Maruti Company also gave job letters to some students. He said that due to lack of information, youth remain unemployed, our effort is to gather companies at one place and get placements done so that everyone gets employment. During this, some companies also joined for the placement of disabled people, which would give better employment to these students. Sh Raj Nehru said that various types of skill related courses are conducted in the university to the students, including Mechatronics, Mechanical Manufacturing, Production Tool and Die Manufacturing, Robotics and Automation, Mechanical Manufacturing, Industrial Electronics, Mechanical Manufacturing, Management, Financial Services, Management. - BPM & Analytics, Retail Management, Management Banking & Finance, Entrepreneurship, Management HRM, Hospitality- Ethnic Foods & Sweets Processing, General, Business Analytics, Medical Laboratory Technology, Public Services, Geo- Informatics, Public Health, Folk Art Banchari, Agriculture And skill courses in agriculture etc. are included. He said that this university is working with the aim of giving work to every hand, skill to every student.
Special invitee CEO, Equitas Holdings Limited Sh. John Alex said that in association with the university, students were placed in various national and international companies.
Registrar, SVSU Prof. R S Rathore said that university will organize more such job fairs in the coming time. He thanked everyone presented during this. The program was organized under the aegis of the placement cell of the university, in which training and placement officer Ms. Vaishali contributed significantly.
During the Job Fair, Deputy Speaker Gopichand Gehlot, Dean Academics Prof. Jyoti Rana, Dean Prof. Rishipal, Dean Prof. Suresh Kumar, Dean Prof. Nirmal Singh, Prof. Ranjit Singh and all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the university were present.
