`Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta steers the human being to the ultimate destination of life’

Chandigarh, October 8, 2024: Under the aegis of Shri Krishna Priya Ju Sankirtan Mandal, Vrindavan Praktya Utsav and Shrimad Bhagwat Katha are being organized at the Mela Ground in Sector 34, Chandigarh. This program will continue till October 13.

Today, on the second day of the programme, world famous Katha Vyas Param Pujya Shri Indresh Maharaj narrated that the first shloka of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta starts with the word ‘Janm’ (Birth) and the last word is ‘Hari Satya’. He explained that since birth till the last breath the human life is to be surrendered in the feet of Sri Hari, and during the course he need to perform all his duties while chanting and remembering Sri Hari. While refereeing to the digital era, Maharaj ji said that just similar to how everyone reaches the desired destination through Google Map installed in mobile, in the same way Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta steers the human being to the ultimate destination of life.

On this occasion, singer B Praak told that the well-known saints of the country are arriving in this Bhagwat Katha, who will recite the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha and explain to the people the reality of life and enlighten them. He said that renowned religious gurus including Pujya Swami Kailash Nand Giri Ji Maharaj Mahamandaleshwar Niranjan Akhara Parishad, Jaya Kishori, Chitralekha, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri (Bageshwar Sarkar) and Aniruddhacharya are attending the program.

Singer B Praak said that he is very honoured and elated to organise this program. “Through this programme I have got a chance to serve so many great saints,” he added.
