Sidhu calling for civil war because of power hunger: Chugh

Chandigarh, November 12, 2021: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today warned Punjab PCC president Navjot Sidhu against spreading panic and fear among people of Punjab by giving statements on possibility of civil war.
In a statement Chugh lambasted Sidhu for his completely irresponsible and reprehensible statements targeted at spreading fear among businesses men and traders in the state.
"Sidhu is using such language because he has been deprived of the seat of Chief Minister. His desperation and frustration is reflected in his anti-national sentiments that he keeps expressing off and on," he said.
Chugh cautioned the PCC president against fomenting and instigating reprehensible ideas like civil war in the border state where Pakistan has been plotting subversive activities.
"Abnoxious ideas like civil war will keep coming to him because of his hunger for power," Chugh added.
