Nawanshahr, February 13, 2022: Renowned Punjabi Singer Feroz Khan on Sunday urged the people to get out and vote on February 20 in record numbers.
In a video message for the people of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Khan shared the importance of voting in the elections and said that other things can wait but not serving the nation when it comes so people must contribute by casting vote on polling day. He said that it is the moral duty of all the citizens of the Punjab to actively participate in the voting on February 20 and ensure that the aspirations of our forefathers of Indian freedom struggle are fulfilled.
The Singer added that it is the need of hour to awaken the people especially the youngsters about their democratic rights. He said that Right to vote is the most important asset in the life of every individual as through this they can elect their representatives in a free and fair manner.
Khan also appreciated the efforts made by the district administration led by the Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal to sensitize the people on issue of voting rights.
