Mohali, April 23, 2018: Sir Simon McDonald KCMG KCVO, the Permanent Under Secretary and Head of the Diplomatic Service at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, UK visited ISB Mohali campus today. This was Sir McDonald’s maiden visit to the Tricity. He spoke on ‘Brexit and the Future of UK-India Relations’ and interacted with students and also answered their queries post his session.
The Permanent Under Secretary is responsible for advising the Foreign Secretary and the ministerial team on foreign policy, and for managing the FCO. He chairs the FCO Board and is also Head of the Diplomatic Service.
