Slogan Writing Competition at DMCH
DMCH organized a slogan writing competition in which students of MBBS Batches 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 participated.
Ludhiana, April 21, 2023: DMCH organized a slogan writing competition in which students of MBBS Batches 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 participated. This competition is in the continuation of the series of activities being organized under Punjab Government’s initiative called the “Buddy Program” to highlight the harmful effects of substance abuse
Students made beautiful posters with catchy slogans to convey the message. The prizes were distributed to the winners by the judges.
Present at the occasion were Dr Sandeep Puri, Principal, Dr Ranjive Mahajan , Head, Psychaiatry, Dr Harpreet Puri, Head, Pathology, Dr Anurag Chaudhary, Head, Community Medicine, Dr Veenu Gupta, Head, Microbiology, Dr Hitant Vohra, Head, Anatomy, Dr Vidhushi, Head, Physiology, Dr Gautam Biswas, Head, Forensic Medicine, Dr Shalini Arora, Prof, Pharmacology and senior buddies including Dr Kirandeep Kaur, Anshu Soni, Dr. Meenakshi Aggarwal, Dr Sonia Singh and Dr Garima Sharma and others
Dr Sandeep Puri encouraged students to come forward if their friends are getting into any wrong habits.
Dr Ranjive Mahajan, said that addiction is a disease and it should be curbed at the source.
Event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Kanchan Gupta, Nodal officer, DMCH Buddy’s Program.
