Social organisations and NGOs should work for needy children: Harkesh Mittal

Ludhiana, October 12, 2018: Aasra Charitable Society, Ludhiana, under the presidentship of Sunil Kakkar on Friday visited Jamuna Model Senior Secondary School, Haibowal Kalan, Ludhiana and distributed socks and shoes to the needy schoolchildren in view of coming winters. The Ludhiana Consumer Produt Distributors Association president Harkesh Mittal was the chief guest on the occasion. There were a total 56 beneficiaries. Speaking on the occasion, Mittal lauded the social activities being carried out by Aasra Charitable Society, Ludhiana. He opined that the other social organisations and NGOs should also come forward and work for the needy children. He said children were the future of the Nation. In his address, Kakkar said Aasra Charitable Society was always committed to work for needy people. Neeru Mittal, social worker Mamta Mehra, legal advisor Jatinder Khurana, Sonia Kakkar, Simran Bedi, Vanshika Kakkar, Poonam Abilish and others were present.
