Social security dept holds job fair for PWDs

Ludhiana, August 1, 2024: The department of Social Security in association with District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises , Ludhiana organized a job fair for Persons with Disability at its office in Shimlapuri.
A total of 36 PWD Job seekers registered with DBEE of which six were selected by Flipkart on the spot for placement.
District Social Security Officer Varinder Singh Tiwana stated that in the coming day, a mega job fair for PWDs will be organized in which industry giants will particpate and select the candidates. He mentioned that the Special Employment Office for PwD is a part of the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises and the staff function from their building. He urged the job seekers to scan special QR code for the jobs where information of all the vacancies shared. If jobseekers find a job suitable to them they can contact the employer directly for an interview through scanning QR code.
