`SON OF SARDAAR’: Sikh orgnisations appeal citizens not to watch movie

New Delhi/Ludhiana, November 8, 2012: Sikh organisations such as Sikhi Sidak, Better Sikh School, Young Sikh Leaders, Bibek Trust, Dharmik Ekta Mission and Rising Events have appealed to all citizens of India not to watch `Son Of Sardaar’.

In a statement issued on behalf of these organisations, Jagminder Singh has said “it is an insult of your Sikh brothers by making mockery of them”.

He told that these organisations are widely spread in Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Bangalore and Punjab. he added the help and betterment of every citizen is only motto of these organisations.

Adding, he said in the last joint meeting of SGPC, Ajay Devgn and AISSF, it was jointly decided that if Ajay Devgn removed all objectionable dialogues from the movie then they did not have any issues.

“But after the commitment Ajay Devgn did not remove all the objectionable dialogues and scenes from the movie. As he Ajay Devgn got the certificate from the Censor Board shows he and the authority (Censor Board) doesn’t care about the sentiments of Sikhs”, he said.
