Sonowal talks to eminent personalities over phone
Apprised them of government’s ploy to beat viral infection of novel corona virus
Guwahati: As a part of Assam government’s multi-pronged approach to
negotiate with the Covid-19 pandemic, State chief minister Sarbananda
Sonowal dialled several eminent personalities and took stock of their
well-beings. During the telephonic discussions with senior
academicians, sports organizers, social activists, journalists etc,
Sonowal apprised them of the government’s ploy to beat the viral
infection of novel corona virus.
Besides protecting and saving precious lives from the infection,
Sonowal informed them about the government’s effort to create a
robust infrastructure of healthcare facilities to reach out to the
people who are falling prey to the deadly virus. He also added that
the government was working assiduously to strengthen the economy which
has been badly hit by the pandemic.
