Sony SAB’s Maddam Sir hopping on to K-Pop trend!
Join Haseena and Santosh as they uncover another case in style
The fashion police are singing praises for our coolest police officers as SHO Haseena Malik (Gulki Joshi) and Santosh Sharma (Bhavika Sharma) gear up in stunning K-Pop outfits. Sony SAB’s Mahila Police Thana is always in vogue and as they get a lot of out-of-the-box cases, Maddam Sir and team always find new, creative ways to solve them. This time, Santosh has been accused of conducting online fraud and Bulbul Pandey himself has come to arrest her. Knowing that Santosh is innocent, Haseena steps up and hatches an ingenious plan to catch the real culprit. Did Maddam Sir just decode the coolest way to solve a serious case? The team gets candid about the same!
Gulki Joshi, who essays the role of SHO Haseena Malik says, “Maddam Sir is all about spreading laughter and happiness through innovative problem-solving methods. This K-Pop inspired look definitely stands out because it’s cool, and it was so much fun shooting for this scene. Since the case is twisted, Haseena and Santosh had to also go beyond their usual boundaries to solve the case and catch the real culprit. It is a new story with a new deadline, but the laughter remains constant. We are very close to completing two glorious years of Maddam Sir and I am happy that even after so much time, we have managed to maintain the momentum and come up with such clever tactics to nab the criminals.
Bhavika Sharma essaying the role of Santosh says, “We are back with yet another banger with the team dressed up in Korean costume pieces. I thoroughly enjoyed dressing up in this gear. I love the fact that the show keeps up with the trends and gives us so many opportunities to experiment and try different looks. The idea is to nab the real criminals who have been using Santosh’s name and extorting money out of the simple minded. Since he has a keen interest in K-dramas and K-Pop music, we are dressed to impress him and thus nudge him into realizing his mistake. This is the lighthearted entertainment that Sony SAB and Maddam Sir is about and now that Maddam Sir is turning two, it feels unbelievable. I genuinely feel very grateful and blessed that I'm a part of this mad bunch.”
