‘Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey’ on Sony SAB is a heartwarming show that mirrors the everyday challenges faced by the common man. In the upcoming track, Rajesh (Sumeet Raghavan) and Vandana Wagle (Pariva Pranati) take it in their own hands to teach the first-time voters of Sai Darshan Society, the importance of every single vote.
As the younger generation of Sai Darshan Society doesn’t seem too excited about voting in the upcoming elections, the older generation finds a unique way to educate and motivate them. Society members decide to replace Dakshesh Joshipura (Deepak Pareek) as the society secretary for a month, with Vandana, Jyoti (Bhakti Chauhan), and Mr Walia as the candidates. Vandana, whose election manifesto is centered around the welfare of society and its members, ends up losing the majority with just one vote. On the other hand, Jyoti and Walia, who want to focus on the beautification of society, join hands to form a coalition leadership. Through this unique approach, Vandana and Rajesh emphasize how 'every vote counts' to the society members.
Sumeet Raghavan, who plays the role of Rajesh Wagle, said, "In a democracy, voting isn't just a right; it's a responsibility. And our country being the biggest democracy, there is a huge need to make the younger generation aware of the need to vote. Through our track in Wagle Ki Duniya, we aim to show that even a single vote can make a significant difference.”
Pariva Pranati, who plays the role of Vandana Wagle, said, "It's challenging to educate the younger generation just through words. That's why Vandana and Rajesh opted to lead by example, demonstrating that our society's future lies in our hands, quite literally. It's important for everyone, especially the younger generation, to understand the power of their vote. Through these episodes, we aim to highlight the importance of each individual's role in shaping our community.”
