The three-day event received an overwhelming response from both domestic manufacturers and international buyers, solidifying India's role as a major global sourcing hub across various sectors.

The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) successfully conclude of Sourcex India 2025, which took place at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi from March 26-28, 2025. The three-day event received an overwhelming response from both domestic manufacturers and international buyers, solidifying India's role as a major global sourcing hub across various sectors.
 
Sourcex India 2025 provided an excellent platform for business collaborations, market exploration, and showcasing the strength of Indian manufacturing. The event featured a diverse range of Indian exhibitors from industries such as Food & Beverages, Health & Beauty, FMCG & FMCD, Apparel & Garments, Textiles & Home Decor, E-Commerce Services, and Logistics. Additionally, over 150 global buyers from 45+ countries, including regions like Africa, the EU, NAFTA, and Southeast Asia, attended. The event also highlighted the participation of 10 National Award-winning artisans, supported by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
 
Key Highlights of Sourcex India 2025 includes:
Buyer-Seller Meetings: Both pre-arranged and spontaneous B2B meetings enabled direct interactions between international buyers and Indian exporters, fostering meaningful business relationships. Many participants reported positive discussions and follow-up actions.
Knowledge Seminars and Workshops: Industry experts led seminars on global trade trends, supply chain management, export financing, and quality control, offering valuable insights to both exhibitors and buyers.
Networking Opportunities: The event offered plenty of opportunities for networking, allowing participants to connect informally and establish valuable business ties.
 
Speaking at the event's closing ceremony, Dr Ajay Sahai, DG & CEO, FIEO, described Sourcex India 2025 as a tremendous success, reflecting the resilience and growth of India’s export sector. "The strong participation from international buyers and Indian manufacturers highlights India’s growing reputation as a trusted and competitive sourcing destination," he said. "The connections made and discussions started here are set to fuel significant export growth for India."
 
Dr Sahai further emphasized that the insights gained during the event will help improve future editions, contributing to the continued growth of India’s export sector. As India aims for an ambitious $2 trillion export target for both goods and services by 2030, he encouraged new startups and businesses to engage with the sector. He also highlighted that trade agreements like the upcoming UK-India Free Trade Agreement, expected in the next few months, will create a favourable environment for exporters.
Dr Sahai concluded by inviting international buyers to visit India regularly, stating, "India is now the ideal place to conduct real business."
