South Africa confident to win 1st T20
Dharamshala, September 14, 2019: South African assistant batting coach and former all-rounder Lance Klusener said in a press conference today at Dharamshala that to perform in India is being influenced by a lot of factors.
He said that Indian pitches are not of much concern as players can handle them, but it is more challenging to perform in Indian weather and full pack stadium where there is huge noise the audience.
Lance Klusener said that even though the Indian team is looking stronger than our team at the moment, but we are focusing on our strength rather than the Indian team.
During the press conference, South African batsman David Miller said that of course there are new faces in our team but it is not true that we are unaware of the Indian conditions, Miller said that most of the players have played in India before but yet we came to Dharamshala one week before the match and we have studied the conditions here very closely. “We have come here with the intention of winning and we will get into the fray with full homework”, he added.
