South India Food Festival Satiates Ludhianvis with Coastal Food Cravings at Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana
Ludhiana, July 8, 2022: Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana is hosting a South Indian Food Festival at café Delish restaurant to offer a delicious treat to the diners. This food festival will witness best of authentic food from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. The food festival will continue till July 17.
General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana Abhay Kumar said, “The five coastal states of south India, with very rich history, have so much more to offer. The people of the city have just started coming back to their home town from the long vacations so we decided to offer them South India food on the platter at Café Delish restaurant. He said authentic flavours of southern states - Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala cuisines are the main attraction of the Food Festival. He said our priority is offering a unique food and beverage experience within a luxury setting that combines cultures.
Executive Chef Baldeep Singh along with Chef Amit Porwal and his team has carefully designed the menu after exploring these regions for months to bring to you this exclusive menu of mouth-watering dishes. Chef said South Indian cuisine comprises rice and rice-based dishes, accompanied by sambar (a soup-like lentil dish tempered with whole spices and chillies) and rasam (a hot-sour soup like lentil dish), dry and curried vegetarian and meat dishes, and a host of coconut-based chutneys and poppadums (deep-fried crispy lentil pancakes).
Food and Beverage Manager Rohit Mishra said, “ the festival will be feast for non-vegetarian and vegetarians would relish Dal Wada, Mirchi Wada / Mokkajonna wada, Kalan Pepper Fry, Karivepaku kodi Fry, Chicken Varuval, Andhra Kodi Vepadu, Rawa Fried Fish, Chapla Vepadu, Fish Bezula/ Fish Koli vada in starters. “
