Special campaign 4.0 of Swachhata 

Chandigarh, October 16, 2024: The Department of Statistics organized a special campaign 4.0 of Swachhata in the premises of Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Prof. Narinder Kumar, Chairperson, Dr. Anju Goyal and Mr. Harminder Singh Deosi, members of Swachhata Committee, Research Scholars and Students of the Department of Statistics participated in the campaign. The Chairperson motivated the students and research scholars to join the event and contribute towards waste management, sanitation monitoring and public awareness.

During this swachhata campaign, cleanliness was done in the classrooms, seminar hall, department library, computer laboratory with space management planning and managing scrap disposal in and around the department building. Students actively participated in the compaign. Office staff was motivated towards better record management in the office by the Chairperson of the Department.

The Chairperson encouraged everyone to instill cleanliness values, seek active participation, contributing to a cleaner campus and community.
