Special Gurmat Samagam dedicated to 401st Prakash Purab of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji organised

Ludhiana, April 23, 2022: Under the aegis of Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, GGNIVS, GGNIMT and GGN Khalsa College of Pharmacy with great devotion and respect, organized a special Gurmat Samagam dedicated to the 401st Prakash Purab of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Honorary Director of Nankana Sahib Educational Trust, Inderpal Singh, shared his views with the Sangat and said that all the educational institutions functioning under Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council are providing quality education to the students and at the same time are doing all the efforts to make the teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib a part of their practical life by laying special emphasis on the need to adopt the high and pure moral and social values set forth by him.

Former Vice-Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, and President of Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council Dr. S.P. Singh, expressing his views, said that it is the academic and moral duty of all of us to take every step to make today's young generation aware of the divine philosophy of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji so that the universal teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and his human concerns can become an integral part of the lifestyle of the entire human race.
Arvinder Singh Honorary General Secretary Gujranwala Khalsa Education Council said on the occasion that Guru Tegh Bahadur, the symbol of bravery, fought hard against all the forces of hatred, bigotry, and oppression of his time and defended the rights of the people. He also said that only if we make the teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur a part of our life can we succeed in establishing ideal social, economic, and political institutions for the welfare of mankind.
At the end of the program, the Principal of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Dr. Arvinder Singh Bhalla thanked all and said that the educational institutes under the auspices of Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council have been working tirelessly for the propagation of the philosophy of Guru Tegh Bahadur. He said that for a long time, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College has organized several Webinars on hymns, life, philosophy, and the unparalleled martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji in which national and international level scholars shared their invaluable ideas. Quiz competitions, Competitions of Var Kavishari, Debates and Declamation have been successfully organized by the College. A special issue of this year's college magazine 'Nav Ranjit' has also been dedicated to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
Former President of Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council Prof. Prithipal Singh Kapoor, Dr. Gajinder Singh, S. Hardeep Singh, Harcharan Singh, Jasbir Singh, Arvinderpal Singh, Sandeep Singh, Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, Principal Parvinder Singh, Principal Shikha Sehajpal were present during this program.
