Special lecture on topic ‘One, Nation, One Poll’ 

Chandigarh, September 25, 2024: PU-ISSER today organized a special lecture on the topic ‘One, Nation, One Poll’ at Guru Tegh Bhawan. 

Prof. Ashutosh Kumar, Dept. of Political Science delivered the special lecture in which he elaborated on the concept and its significance to the students. He highlighted its potential to bring about major electoral reforms. He also emphasised that implementing it would require substantial amendments to various articles of the Indian Constitution. 

Prof Kumar’s interactive session encouraged discussion and debate among the students who are the future voters of the country. As an expert in Political Science and electoral politics, Prof. Kumar brought valuable insights to the conversation, drawing from his extensive research and publications on Indian politics and electoral dynamics. His lecture provided a comprehensive understanding of its implications and sparked important discussions among the next generation of leaders. 

The lecture was attended by Guest Faculty of the Dept. along with 80 students. The lecture ended with vote of thanks by Prof. Anil Monga, Coordinator of PU-ISSER.
