Chandigarh, December 13, 2023: The Department of Anthropology, Panjab University Chandigarh in collaboration with the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) organized a special lecture titled "Human Rights of the Disabled in India" on Wednesday in the Skill Laboratory of RUSA.
Former Professor, Dr. Vijay Nagpal, Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh was the distinguished speaker. He elaborated on the rights of the disabled in India. In addition, he demonstrated through a variety of personal examples why people must be educated and informed of the concept of disability.
The lecture was incredibly enlightening, and participants were engaged in lively discussion.
The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by the Chairperson, Dr. Maninder Kaur.
