Chandigarh, March 18, 2024: The 7 days and night special NSS camp with theme “Viksit Bharat” held in Panjab University Chandigarh was inaugurated on Monday.
Chief guest for the ceremony was Prof. Rajat Sandhir and Guest of Honour was Prof. Sonal Chawla.
A special NSS session was held by Jai Bhagwan and Sunita: Youth officers: Regional Directorate of NSS, Chandigarh. An extempore competition on various topics related to the vision of a developed bharat @2057 was conducted, followed by the session on Cyber Security by Sardar Gurucharan Singh from Cyber Security Cell,Chandigarh.
An awareness rally on Drug Abuse was also carried out within the PU campus. The day 1 of NSS camp was concluded with cultural performances by NSS volunteers.
The organiser of this camp, Dr. Parveen Goyal: Programme Coordinator NSS, Panjab University Chandigarh; was active on the ground level throughout the day, alongwith all the volunteers.
