Jalandhar, March 24, 2025: The Career Counseling & Placement Cell of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, organized a Special Skill Enhancement Session on YouTubing and Vlogging in the Computer Auditorium of the college. The session provided students with a unique opportunity to interact with renowned YouTubers Amrik Singh, an illustrious alumnus of the college, and Manpreet Kaur, who shared their insights on how to become successful content creators in the digital world.
The event was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. Suman Chopra, who emphasized the importance of digital skills in today’s era and encouraged students to explore new career opportunities in content creation. More than 300 students from various courses actively participated in the session, gaining valuable knowledge about content strategy, audience engagement, and monetization techniques on digital platforms. Reiterating the commitment of the Career Counseling & Placement Cell towards making students employable and future-ready, Dr. Charanjit Singh said that such initiatives play a crucial role in equipping students with industry-relevant skills, preparing them for emerging career paths in the digital space. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Balraj Kaur, Head of the Department of English, who appreciated the enthusiasm of the students and the invaluable insights shared by the guest speakers. The stage was efficiently managed by Dr. Navdeep Kumar from the Department of Commerce and Business Management.
Prof. Onkar Singh from the Dept. of Geography and Prof. Vineet Kumar Gupta from the Department of Commerce and Business Management helped in the overall organization of the event.
