Chandigarh, January 30, 2018: University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) organised “Spellecrama”, here today.
Spellecrama is a quiz competition which challenges the General Knowledge quotient and the English Vocabulary of the students. Several enthusiastic students from various departments and colleges of Panjab University participated in the quiz scheduled at 1:30 pm on 30th January 2018.
The quiz competition 40 brain storming questions to be completed within 20 minutes. This was a great opportunity for students to access their intellect and scratch their minds.
As many as 370 passionate students from various departments and colleges of Panjab University,Chandigarh ; Panjab Agriculture University,Ludhiana ; PGGC, Sector-11; Aurbindo College, Ludhiana, MCM DAV College, Gobindgarh Public College, etc participated.
The entire event was organised under the guidance of Prof. Upasna Joshi Sethi, Director, UIAMS and Dr. Amandeep Singh Marwaha, Training-cum-Placement Officer, UIAMS, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Winners of the quiz competition will be announced online on 2nd February 2018. This promising event ignited the higher thinking skills in students.
