Splendid performance of Delhi Public School students on Annual Sports Day
In the pleasant cold of autumn, the Annual Sports Day at Delhi Public School was organised in a splendid manner. All the students of junior and senior wing participated in various events. The chief guest of the event was Vikram Rathore, a well-known cricketer who is presently coaching T-20 World Cup players. The special guest was Vasudha Thakur, a social activist who is working in education and other social fields.

Jalandhar, December 5, 2024: In the pleasant cold of autumn, the Annual Sports Day at Delhi Public School was organised in a splendid manner. All the students of junior and senior wing participated in various events. The chief guest of the event was Vikram Rathore, a well-known cricketer who is presently coaching T-20 World Cup players. The special guest was Vasudha Thakur, a social activist who is working in education and other social fields.
The event started with lighting of lamps. The flag was hoisted by the chief guest. The highlight of the event was the march past by the students of various houses in which NCC cadets and school band participated. Guest of Honor, Colonel Vinod Joshi, Commanding Officer 2 Punjab NCC Battalion and Colonel Vidu Dangwal, Military Hospital Jalandhar evaluated the march past. The students displayed their talent and skills by giving their best performance in various sports competitions. One hundred students along with the school band mesmerized the audience by singing melodious songs. An exhibition of Maths and Science was organised in the school premises. The students displayed the art, culture and history of Orissa and Punjab in a beautiful manner.
DPS Principal, Ritu Kaul told that all the teachers and students had been practising for the annual sports day for the past one month. The successful performance of the programme will take the students to new heights
