Jalandhar, August 29, 2022: Department of Sports and Division of Student Welfare organized a Sports Meet for the students of CT Group of Institutions South Campus Shahpur. It was a day filled with fervor and excitement, in the sprawling and lush green environment of the Shahpur campus. This event was organized in memory of Major Dhyan Chand.
The event commenced with the participation of students in various events like badminton, volleyball, and Tug of War. On occasion, Campus Director (officiating) Dr. Anupamdeep Sharma, Director Research Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami and Nitin Arora, etc were present and motivated the students to participate in these sports activities.
Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director emphasized the importance of sports in everyone’s life and also shared that the aim behind organizing the sports day was to inculcate the value of sportsmanship in students also and to develop a fondness for sports.
