Jalandhar, April 22, 2023: The Physical Education Department of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) is organizing sports trials for women on April 24, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.
The trials will take place at the college ground and will include various sports such as Volleyball, Boxing, Kho-Kho, Softball, Athletics, Basketball, Handball, Wushu, Rugby, Pencak Silat, Swimming, Judo & Taekwondo.
The college is providing free education, boarding, lodging, and transport facilities to outstanding players. Players must report in proper sports kit with original certificates for on-the-spot verification.
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has a history of producing national and international players in different sports. The college boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure that includes a gymnasium, health club, swimming pool, and sprawling play grounds. KMV sports stars receive top-notch training and grooming and participate in various intervarsity, state, national, and international level competitions, winning gold and silver medals throughout the year.
Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, believes that these trials will provide a golden opportunity for selected sportswomen to excel in their respective games.
