SPS Apollo Hospitals Organising “Dil Ki Daud” to celebrate World Heart Day


Ludhiana, September 24, 2014: This World Heart Day, our focus is on creating heart-healthy environments. By ensuring that people are able to make heart-healthy choices wherever they live, work and play, World Heart Day 2014 encourages us all to reduce our cardiovascular risk, and promotes a heart-healthy planet for those around us.
In conjunction with the World Heart Day 2014, Satguru Partap Singh Apollo Hospitals, Ludhiana is organising the mini marathon on September 28 at Guru Nanak Stadium. The theme of this year marathon is `Run Before It Stops Running’. SPS Apollo is organizing this marathon to advocate a healthy lifestyle among Indians and to empower Indians to make positive choices for their heart health.

This year the marathon will be open to 1,500 public participants ages 18 years and above on a first-come-first-served basis. Besides running for 5 kms, the event offers awareness program which aim to educate the public on the importance of heart health. All senior citizens, families, professionals and youths are welcome to participate.

Registration is free of charge and is open till the desired no reached. Do kindly note that, as there is a limited number for participation, registration is for first-come-first serve basis. Each participant will receive a goodie bag, Dil - Ki – Daud 2014 T-Shirt, participation certificate, refreshments. All the winners will be awarded by wonderful cash prizes, medals and other exciting gifts.
