Ludhiana, April 21, 2025: Under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma, the staff of the Commissionerate Police organized a two-hour cleanliness drive called SHRAMDAAN on Sunday, April 20, 2025, across all its offices and premises. This initiative demonstrates the Commissionerate Police's commitment to fostering a clean environment.

The drive saw enthusiastic participation from all staff members, who diligently cleaned their workspaces, office areas, and ensured proper waste disposal. In addition to cleaning, the staff contributed to the environment by watering saplings and trees, enhancing the greenery around the premises. Their collective efforts transformed the office spaces into cleaner, more welcoming areas.

Commissioner Sharma announced that the SHRAMDAAN cleanliness drive will be held weekly every Sunday, urging all officers to maintain clean and hygienic office premises. He emphasized the importance of consistent efforts to sustain the momentum of this initiative. "Such drives not only improve the appearance of our workplaces but also instill a sense of discipline and responsibility among the staff," he remarked.
