Hyderabad, June 23, 2022: Rotary club of Jubilee Hills and Suven Life Sciences have set up s State of the Art Paediatric Heart Surgery Unit at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad.
It is set up at an investment of Rs 4crore, CSR funds by Suven Pharma. The facility is expected to benefit 750 kids annually. The Paediatric Heart Surgeries will be performed free of cost.
Thanneeru Harish Rao, Minister for Finance, Health, Medical & Family Welfare, Govt. of Telangana inaugurated this fully furnished modular 6 bedded Cardiothoracic ICU, Including a Class-l Air- conditioned isolation clean room suitable for Heart Transplant facility is equipped with high-end Heart-Lung Machine, ECHO, Nitric Oxide delivery, Bronchoscope, Infant Warmer beds to name a few.
Venkat Jasti, Chairman and MD ‘s SUVEN Pharmaceuticals Limited provided CSR funds of close to Rs 4 Cr for this Facility to address Congenital Heart Diseases, prevalent in under nourished populace of rural villages.
Governor, Rotary International District 3150 K Prabhakar re-affirmed commitment of Rotary International's Focus Area of Disease Prevention & Treatment.
Dr. K Manohar appraised that this facility helps poor patients to access high end corporate facilities free under government schemes
President P Suresh Gupta, Secretary Kalyan Panguluri of Rotary Club of Jubilee Hills co-ordinated the project and graced the inaugural function.
