Ludhiana: On the martyrdom day of first martyr of freedom struggle, Bhai Maharaj Singh Ji, a state-level function would be organised by the Punjab government at village Ribbon Ucchi (near Payal) at 10:30 am on July 5, 2020.
Payal MLA Mr Lakhvir Singh Lakha said that the Punjab government would be organising a state level function on this occasion, but due to COVID 19 pandemic, the function would be organised only briefly. He said that Health & Family Welfare Minister Punjab Mr Balbir Singh Sidhu would be the chief guest on the occasion. SDM Mr Mankanwal Singh Chahal, Gurudwara Committee representatives, besides several others were also present on the occasion.
