Issru (Ludhiana): On the martyrdom day of the first martyr of the Goa liberation movement, Karnail Singh Issru, the state level function is being organized by the Punjab government on August 15 in Dana Mandi of village Issru.
Cabinet Minister for Health & Family Welfare Balbir Singh Sidhu, MLA Khanna Gurkirat Singh Kotli and other prominent personalities will pay homage to the martyr.
ADC Khanna Sakatar Singh Bal today held meeting with officials and reviewed the preparations. He informed that adequate arrangements were being made to make this event a success. He said that all the officers have been assigned their duties.
