Sterlite Power wins two prestigious awards at The Asset Triple A Asia Infrastructure Awards 2020
Won the Utility M&A Deal of the Year and Utility Deal of the Year awards in the Best Deals (South Asia) category
New Delhi: Sterlite Power, a leading global power transmission player, has been awarded the ‘Útility M&A Deal of the Year’ and ‘Utility Deal of the Year’ in the Best Deals (South Asia) category at The Asset Triple A Asia Infrastructure Awards 2020. Sterlite Power won the ‘Utility M&A Deal of the Year’ award for attracting KKR and GIC as investors to India Grid Trust (IndiGrid). Sterlite Power was the sponsor of IndiGrid, which is India’s first infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) in the power sector. It also won the ‘Utility Deal of the Year’ award for the 15 billion rupees debt financing deal of its NER II Transmission Limited project.
