Streaming now on ZEE5, ‘Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne’ starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sargun Mehta

Popular homegrown OTT platform ZEE5 is now gearing for the world digital premiere of the blockbuster Punjabi movie 'Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne’ starring Diljit Dosanjh, Sargun Mehta and Sohail Ahmed. Written by Naresh Kathooria and directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the film offers comedy, romance, drama and a whirlwind of emotions in equal measures and is entertaining out and out.

With a high degree of laughter and entertainment, 'Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne’ received a great response at the box office and now is ready for its World Digital Premiere on ZEE5 on 6th January. The crux of the story is how Jaggi (played by Diljit Dosanjh) and his two friends are looking for get-rich-quick schemes to pay off a huge debt they have incurred from a lender. This leads them to an old age home to legally adopt an old man, Iqbal abandoned by his children and usurp his insurance money once he dies. Iqbal doesn’t die soon, unlike what was predicted by his medical statistics, leaving Jaggi to think of more devious ways to use Iqbal and his friends from the old age home, for making loot. 

Diljit Dosanjh proves his acting chops again by doing a fantastic job in the film and strongly supporting him is actor, Sargun Mehta. The two don’t have a romantic angle in the film but yet their time together in the film is loveable. ‘Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne’ is produced by Diljit Dosanjh and Daljit Thind.
