Student Induction Programme of Management and Computer Application Department Concluded at DAVIET
DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jalandhar started the Student Induction programme (SIP 2023) of MBA, MCA, BBA, B.Com (H), BCA and BHMCT on August 2, 2023 was concluded on August 4, 2023. New entrants attended 3-days orientation programme with great zeal. They got benefited with different workshops and expert lectures organized during the 3-days SIP.

New entrants attended 3-days orientation programme with great zeal. They got benefited with different workshops and expert lectures organized during the 3-days SIP.
Dr. Sanjeev Naval, officiating Principal, DAVIET, showered his blessings upon the students. He highlighted the importance of values that are of prime concern in the institute. He stated that they should come up to the expectations of the Institute. He also motivated them to have balance in their personal and professional life for progress. Further, he wished all the best for new entrants.
Dr. Suman Tandon Associate Professor (Business Management) extends the green welcome to the resource person.
The students attended the workshop of CA Shashi Bhushan on ‘Innovations in Business and Management’. He discussed the concepts of tax system and online innovations through portals/automation of system. He threw light on many concepts such as GST, TDS, income tax return, custom duty and knowledge portals etc.
R.D.S Johal, Deputy Dean (Academics), affirmed academic regulations of DAVIET. He discussed the vision and mission of the Institute by focusing on ethical and moral values. Further, he described the outcome base education of the Institute.
Dr. Ashok Kumar, NSS Officer acquainted the students about different activities of NSS. He encouraged the new entrants to join NSS for transformation and development.
Vishav Kapoor, TPO, DAVIET, apprised the students about placements and skill assessment test. He stated that DAVIET is the only Institute under IKG PTU where all three Defence forces conduct placement drives. Further, he threw light on entrepreneurship and start ups. He introduced the students with the Centre of Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).
