Students from SAE, UIET, PU attend Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
Students from Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), UIET, Panjab University had the privilege of attending the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on January 21, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Chandigarh, January 21, 2025: Students from Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), UIET, Panjab University had the privilege of attending the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on January 21, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The event, which runs from January 17 to 22, showcases groundbreaking innovations in advanced mobility technologies. Event organizer Prof. Shankar Sehgal and Dr. Amit Thakur thanked Prof. Sanjeev Puri Director UIET for being a source of Continuous Motivation towards overall personality development of the students.
The students explored cutting-edge technologies displayed by leading global and domestic brands. Key highlights of the visit included advanced electric vehicles like Tata’s Harrier EV and Sierra EV, MG’s Cyberster, and Toyota’s hydrogen-powered Hilux. Students also learned about latest battery technologies at the Bharat Battery Show and sustainable automotive materials showcased by leading steel manufacturers.
Dynamic live demonstrations, such as drift shows by BMW and Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles and micro-mobility stunts, provided an engaging glimpse into the future of transportation. The students also engaged with the winners of the Hydrogen-CNG BAJA 2025 competition, gaining valuable insights into hybrid fuel systems, drivetrain optimization, and design challenges. These discussions provided practical knowledge to support SAE UIET’s ongoing Hydrogen-CNG BAJA project.
