Students of Dev Samaj School give 'save animals' message through a walk
Students of I.S. Dev Samaj Sr. Sec. School Sector 21C participated in a walk organised by the school to create awareness about saving and taking care of animals.
Chandigarh, November 19, 2024: Students of I.S. Dev Samaj Sr. Sec. School Sector 21C participated in a walk organised by the school to create awareness about saving and taking care of animals.
This walk was held to mark ‘Pashu Jagat Diwas’, or Animal Universe Day. Around 200 students took part in the rally to show their concern for animals.
The students were flagged off from the School by Maanvinder Singh Mangat, Chief Administrative Officer the Dev Samaj in the presence of Dr. Jaspal Kaur , Manager , I.S. Dev Samaj Sr. Sec. School and the school's Principal Sabeeha Dhillon Mangat.
The students who took part in the unique initiative were carrying placards with messages about the need to 'safeguard animals' written on them.
The idea was to sensitise people so that animals are not harmed by humans.
The students marched from the school to Sec 22(Aroma Hotel) and then crossing the sector 21 Petrol Pump the students came back to the start point - I.S. Dev Samaj Sr. Sec. School .
