Students planting 250 saplings in Dips College campus
DIPS Polytechnic College Rarra Morr students and staff members planted 250 plants and trees in the college campus and gave the message of environmental protection.
Jalandhar, July 25, 2022: DIPS Polytechnic College Rarra Morr students and staff members planted 250 plants and trees in the college campus and gave the message of environmental protection. These included fruits, flowers and medical plants like Neem, Peepal, Tulsi, Amla, Guava, Mango, Cardamom, Jamun, Lemon Grass etc. During this, the students planted saplings and gave them water and took a vow that till they come to college, they will take care of these trees so that they grow up till the completion of their academic year.
College Principal Jagjit Singh said that in order to make people aware about plantation, it is necessary that we should gift the plant as a gift to the chief guest and guests on program and the occasion of birthday, wedding, party. On this occasion Prof. Tajinderpal Singh, Balveer Singh, Kashmir and program Singh, Simranjit Singh, Ravinder Singh, Vivek, Jasveer Kaur, Amarpreet Kaur, Simarjit Kaur and other members were present.
MD Tarwinder Singh said that every person should take a pledge that to keep the environment clean, every person will plant a tree in his life and take care of it. CEO Monica Mandotra said that no matter how many new technology we start using in life, but we should not forget that environment and trees are our basic need for life. Ignoring them, we can never lead a happy life.
