Students of Department of Physiotherapy of Lyallpur Khalsa College visited Deep Artificial Limb Center as part of Academic Extension Activity.

Jalandhar, November 20, 2024: Department of physiotherapy of Lyallpur Khalsa College visited the Deep Artificial Limb Center in Chandigarh as part of the academic extension activity.
Principal of the college Dr. Jaspal Singh while sending off the students said that it is important for physiotherapy students to have knowledge of rehabilitation science because physiotherapists are an integral part of the rehabilitation team.
Under the guidance of Head of Department Dr. Raju Sharma and teacher Dr. Vaishali Mohindru, students also learned about advanced artificial organs.
Dr. Karanbir Singh, CEO of the center shared detailed information about the types of orthoses and prostheses, manufacturing process and usage to the students.
Later, the students also visited Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake.
