Prof Anil Thakur Debating Society, Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh today concluded with the successful edition of 3rd Prof Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur Memorial National Debate Competition. This Competition is organised in the loving memory of Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Thakur.

Chandigarh, October 18, 2023: Prof Anil Thakur Debating Society, Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh today concluded with the successful edition of 3rd Prof Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur Memorial National Debate Competition. This Competition is organised in the loving memory of Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Thakur.
Earlier the society, has successfully organised two editions of the said competition on the themes; Same Sex Marriages: Rejection or Recognition?' And Social Media and Right to Privacy.
In today's event, 20 teams across the nation from Punjab ,Delhi, UP etc participated and these teams were put to competition, selecting top 12 in the semi-final round and finally out of these 12, the top 2 competed against each other in the final round.
