Sumit Woods Ltd conducts vaccination drive for its employees and their families
The company vaccinates over 500 families during the camp
Mumbai: Sumit Woods Limited, one of the reputed real estate companies in Mumbai and a listed entity on NSE, had rolled out a free vaccination drive for its employees, labourers and their family members at their head office in Mumbai at Malad East. Through this initiative, the company managed to vaccinate over 500 families during this drive. The Group had collaborated with Mumbai’s reputed Nanavati Hospital to facilitate the vaccination drive.
Speaking on this initiative, Ms. Amruta Jangid, Head of Marketing & Brand Operations, Sumit Woods Limited said, “Being committed to serve the society, Sumit Woods believes that the health and safety of the people is utmost important. We aim to contribute towards the nationwide immunization efforts and do our bit. Our motto was to help speed up inoculations for the 18+ age group who were unable to procure vaccines for a longer period of time now. Through our vaccination drive, we wanted to ensure the well-being of our stakeholders and the society at large. We encourage other companies to come forward for such vaccination drives to reduce the stress on the healthcare system of our country.”
Before the onset of the third wave of the pandemic, the level of vaccination needs to be accelerated. The second wave has already shown some cascading repercussions on the economy and on the real estate sector as well. The government’s initiative of vaccinating 18+ age groups free of cost will boost the construction conversation by assisting labourers in getting vaccinated. Therefore, many real estate organizations are taking part in onsite vaccination camps to shape the current situation. It’s time to protect ourselves from the third wave of pandemic through complete vaccination.
