Suniel Shetty tears up and reminisces about hugging his father after watching contestants’ performance on COLORS’ ‘Dance Deewane’
As COLORS' 'Dance Deewane’ gears up for a dhamakedaar episode this weekend, the top contestants are ready to wow the judges and viewers this season with power-packed performances. In this edition, not only will contestants showcase an impressive pool of talent, but they will also unite under the theme 'Aapke Parivaar Se Hamare Parivaar Tak'. The esteemed judges, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Suniel Shetty, don the judges’ panel with the laughter queen Bharti Singh as the host of the show. In the upcoming episode of 'Dance Deewane', audiences will be swept away by the mesmerizing performance of two extraordinary brothers, Rohit and Roshan Patro, belonging to the second generation. The 18 and 15-year-old boys from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand will be performing on the song ‘Papa Meri Jaan’ dedicating their performance to their father. The emotionally loaded performance earns them a standing ovation from both the judges. Moved to tears, Suniel misses the bond he shared with his late father. He remarks that the way the brothers included their father in the frame was the best moment of their performance.
After the performance, Suniel Shetty reflected on the significance of physical touch, particularly between fathers and sons. He noted that while children often share physical closeness with their mothers, the same isn't true for fathers due to societal expectations. Suniel expressed, “Bache humesha Ma ke saath bahut physical hote hai, pitaji ke saath kabhi physical nahi hote, kyuki humhe lagta hai yeh mard hai inhe hugs chalenge ya nahin chahenge.” Anna however made a personal revelation from spending time with his own father during his final years, realizing the profound importance of touch for him. He said, “Last chaar saal jab pitaji bistar pe thee and tab unke saath mene wakht guzara, tab mene yeh realize kiya ki touch unke liye kitna maayne rakhta tha. Unka haath pakadna, jo shayad unhone bachpan mei mere saath kiya tha lekin pata nhi kya awkward stage aata hai Baap- Bete ke beech mei ki aap woh kabhi nahi kar paate”
Suniel Shetty really hit home when he talked about dads needing hugs too, just like moms do. He made a great point about how sharing physical affection with our fathers is as important as with mothers.
He remarked, “Jese Ma ko aap gale lagate hai, I think ek pita ko bhi wese hi gale lagane bahut zaruri hai, woh physical touch dena is important. Woh energy humse un tak pahuchti hai and unki energy humhe aati hai.”
