Sunit Mukherjee motivates girl students to enhance life skills
Jhajjar, December 4, 2024: Education is the key to empowerment. Higher education, skill development and technology will pave the way for capacity development. There is a need for students to master communication, soft and life skills and information and communication technology. Linking skills to employment will also pave the way for self-employment. This was stated by MDU's Journalism and Mass Communication Department Professor and Director Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee. He was addressing a workshop as the keynote speaker and chief guest organized on women empowerment at Government College, Dubaldhan (Jhajjar) today.
In the closing session of this three-day workshop organized by the Women's Cell of College, Sunit Mukherjee said in his motivational lecture that in today's competitive era, many enterprises can be established and self-employment can be done through technology enabled solutions. He informed about various food and other innovative startups started by women in India.
Sunit Mukherjee said that today's era is the era of creativity and innovation, where various creative employment opportunities are available for the girl students. He advised the girl students to acquire computer and internet skills. Mukherjee also answered the career related questions of the students.
College Principal Dr. Karmveer Gulia, in his presidential address, said that this workshop was aimed at the capacity building of the students. Workshop coordinator Dr. Sarla said that empowering girl students is the main objective of this workshop. Dr. Randeep Singh conducted the program. Dr. Suman and students were present on the occasion.
