Suron Ki Holi celebrated in Department of Music, Panjab University
The Department of Music celebrated “Suron Ki Holi” today. Students of the department presented various Ragas and Instrumental presentation related to Holi on this occasion. The Chairperson and faculty members appreciated the enthusiasm of the students.

Chandigarh, March 7, 2023: The Department of Music celebrated “Suron Ki Holi” today. Students of the department presented various Ragas and Instrumental presentation related to Holi on this occasion. The Chairperson and faculty members appreciated the enthusiasm of the students.
On this occasion Professor Neelam Paul, Chairperson, department of Music said that Holi is a one of the major Hindu Festivals which commemorate the victory of good over evil and it is a festival of various colours representing various emotions of life.
Professor Neelam Paul appreciated the brilliant performance of students i.e. Ramanpreet Singh, Saiprasad Patro, Jagjeet Shah, Bunty, Akshay Kaushal, Rishabh Krishan, Gurdeep Singh Anubhav Sharma, Yogesh Sharma, Abhishek Sharma Samdeep Saini and students who performed in group.
On request of students Soumen Bhatacharjee and Prabhdeep Singh, Assistant Professors also performed on Sitar which was very much appreciated by the students.
