Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan of Panjab University 

Chandigarh, October 2, 2024: Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan of Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with Boys Hostel Number -6 organized a Hostel cleanliness drive on Wednesday, 2024 to observe Gandhi Jayanti. 
The students and staff members cleaned the mess area, lawn and corridors of hostel with great enthusiasm. Dr. Anuj Kumar, coordinator of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan leading the initiative motivated the students and volunteers to join the event and contribute towards waste management, sanitation monitoring and public awareness.

To promote the initiative of Swachh Bharat Mission Cleanliness Drive, staff and residents of Boys Hostel No. 3, Panjab University, Chandigarh under Special Campaign for Swachhta Jayanti, also carried out a cleanliness drive at different blocks of the hostel on 2nd October, 2024. In response to this initiative, both staff and residents collected the plastic waste and disposed of the same in the proper manner.
